Welcome to our remote learning page

We have developed our remote learning offer in response to national school closures during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our offer has changed over time with the emerging needs of the children and their families. We are a small school, with a small and dedicated staff that has worked hard to ensure our children have continued to thrive despite the challenges that the pandemic has brought. Our curriculum offer included academic, social, and emotional sessions as well as themed weeks and online special events.

We have kept many aspects of the provision that we established during school closures. We use Microsoft Teams to share work with families. We welcome virtual visits from ‘remote experts’ to enrich our curriculum and we offer parents and carers the opportunity to meet with staff remotely.

Our aim has been to provide remote sessions for classes, groups, and the whole school as well as the opportunity for face-to-face sessions for individuals. We have worked hard to respond to the needs of families and have provided care for the children of essential workers and those who are vulnerable.
